NEXT WoW BOOK DISCUSSION –
The Practice of the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence. Copies are available in church office for $3.00 each.

WoW Fall Retreat: October 2012, date TBD

This is a time for reflection, spiritual renewal, deepening old friendships and creating wonderful new ones, all at an amazing stone “cottage” in the Poconos. Cost is $75 per person, which includes a lovely dinner out on Saturday evening. Leave early Saturday morning (gather at 7:45 am) and get back at 5 on Sunday afternoon.

Sunday Women’s Luncheon: Fall Date TBD
Theme: Welcome Newcomers!
This will be a time to meet and greet all women new to our church in the past year -as well, of course, as a time for getting to know “old-comers” better. $5.00 for old-comers only. Location: Art Room, top floor of education building. Childcare available.

Christmas Communion and Tea: December 14th at noon
This will be a time to gather for worship in the Sanctuary and afterwards enjoy a time of fellowship in the Parlor. Childcare provided for a small fee.

Ongoing Studies and Programs

Monday Evening Women’s Bible Study: 2nd & 4th Mondays of the month from 7:00 PM–8:30 PM. Starts again Sept. 27th. This study is group led. Questions: Krista Bonar: 610-688-5650.

Tuesday Morning Women’s Bible Study: Weekly from 10:15 AM–11:30 AM in the Library. Starts again Monday, Sept. 12. This is an informal and friendly discussion group, studying the Bible book by book.

Faith Formation Small Group: This women’s group meets weekly in the Prayer Room, located on the top floor of the Education Wing on Thursday mornings 9:30–10:45 AM, starting October 2nd and going through mid May. Focus is on sharing our faith journey using various studies.

Prayer Chain: Each month, Virginia Gardiner gathers prayer requests and compiles these into one email for our group to hold in prayer. If you would like to be a part of this either with a request or to pray for our sisters in need, please contact Virginia at
