Good Works

Good Works is a Christian nonprofit organization that exists to improve the living conditions for low-income families in Chester County, PA. For over 5 years Wayne UMC has participated in hands-on work projects by helping make substandard houses into warmer, safer, and drier homes; and changing despair into hope. Please contact the mission committee if you would like to help out with projects.

UMNS is currently looking for new board members. If you are interested in serving please contact Mary White. The collection box outside of the sanctuary is for men’s clothing. Gently used or new, any size, pants, shirts, coats, socks and shoes. UMNS currently has a shortage on clothing for men. They do not have a need for hats and gloves. Thank you.
Central Baptist Church Host
Serve the homeless in our own community. Be there for another family to interact with a guest, be a good listener and just plain care. Prepare a meal. Volunteers also needed for overnights, Sunday night dinner and Saturday morning breakfast (7am–9am). Overnight shifts are from 9pm–7am.
